The hotel is a 800 years old building used to be a Bazaar place for the Castle,and it is renovated as its original apperance. Soaring 200 vertiginous meters above the sea. The neighbourhood is straight from an engraving of the Old Orient, complete with a handsome Ottoman mosque, the ivy-covered ruins of an old Caravanserai, and scattered tombstones in the shad of tall cypresses and gnarled fig trees. There is a stupendous cistern in the back yard, probably of Byzantine origin or older. The main building is a rectangular cloister with 30 rooms set around it, with meter thick walls and small windows.The service quality and the personel are very good as the Bedesten deserves.The view from the terrace alone is worth a try.
